Receipe of kattuyanam Rice - Idly and dosa

1) TAKE 1 CUP OF KATTUYANAM RICE

2) TAKE 1/2 CUP OF Urad dal

3) Take 1/2 tsp of Fenugreek seeds.

4) soak kattuyanam ric, urad dal and fenugreek seeds with its measurement

in water.

5) wash the soak food materials in water

6) dry out the water after washing the soak food items

7) grind the food items in grinder until a thick paste batter

8) transfer the batter into a container and close

in the next day morning a pinch of salt in the container

9) after adding salt, keep the container for some an hour or seconds.

10) take the 6 holes idly tray, and pour the batter in each hole of the idly tray

11) place the idly tray in the idly vessel and steam it out for 15 to 20 minutes

12) rest the idly vessel for few hours.

13) then take out the idly tray.

14) take each idly out from each hole of 6 hole idly tray.

serve the kattyanam rice idly with coconut chutney and sambar

The same kattuyanam rice can be used for dosa, instead of idly vessel and tray, use the dosa vessel ,to make dosa.

serve dosai with chutney and sambar.

Try kattuyam rice...... more delicious and more healthy.
